Famille Perrin’s Vacqueyras is a beautiful example of Grenache-based wine from the Southern Rhône Valley, with an impressive aromatic expression, structured body and great aging potential.
Vacqueyras Les Christins is located on the Plateau of Sarrians, where the clay soil gives this wine power, great fruit, with notes of licorice, blackberry and smoked meat.
Famille Perrin has owned Château de Beaucastel since 1909. Over the past five generations, the family has acquired not only great vineyards in the very best terroirs of the Southern Rhône valley, but also a great understanding of these terroirs.
The manual harvest is 100% destemmed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel (50%) and large oak vats (50%). The wine ages in foudre (80%) and older French barrels (20%).
This wine pairs well with steak, pork, beef stew, duck, pasta dishes, and all types of cheese.
